Goring 10K 28 February 2010
We are delighted to announce that Sir John Madejski will officially start the 2010 Goring 10K.
This year, for the first time, we are using micro-chips to ensure everyone's time is as accurate as possible.
The winners from each race category also receive vouchers for lunch for 2 at the
Leatherne Bottel.
The Goring 10K is one of the most popular runs in the South of England and every year promises to be bigger and better than before. All proceeds will go to Goring Primary School and in particular the following projects:-
- Supporting the extension to the reception class
- Continuation and additions to sports and drama coaching
- Maintaining all PTA purchased equipment
- Christmas pantomime
- Sports equipment
- Forest school
- Pottery / Art club
- Wildlife garden
- School Art project
We are also looking for volunteers to marshall the course on the day. If you would be willing to give up a couple of hours on the morning of the 10K, please contact Jacqui Smith on (01491) 873835. Without marshalls the 10K could not take place so we are extremely grateful to those of you willing to give us your time.
If you would like any further information, please contact Keith Avery on 01491 871829.
