9.00 a.m - On-the-Day Registration

Although the race is usually well subscribed there may be a few slots left for runners to enter on the day. If so, then On-the Day Registration will be open at 9.00 a.m in Classroom 6 of Goring Primary School, as in 2009. Runners who have already entered but for some reason have not received their runners packs through the post will be able to pick these up from Classroom 6.

Collect your chip. No chip no time taken!

When you arrive, please take your number to the Finish area in the Bourdillon Field where you must pick up your chip from the chip collection tent. Chips can be collected from 9:00am and need to be returned at the end of the race.
11.00 a.m - Race Start

The race will again start at Storton Lodge, Goring at 11.00 a.m. We have taken on board comments received after last year's race and have re-organised the start to ensure it runs more freely this year. Note that the first 1.5 kms is a steady incline up into the countryside. To to be fair to all, competitors will be required to line up at the start in anticipated finishing times. 12.15 pm - Prize Giving

The Prize Giving will be held on the Bourdillon Field, where the race finishes, as close to 12.15 p.m as possible. For competitors and their families wishing to take in the delights of the village after the race, there are several local pubs and restaurants in the village that offer good food and a convivial atmosphere. You may want to book lunch in advance as they are particularly popular on race day! The location and contact numbers for these pubs and restaurants are shown on the village map.
